I definitely did not watch our son ditch us after his third birthday party. To go have a sleepover with his grandparents instead of playing hot wheels with mommy and daddy. Gladly waving goodbye to mommy and daddy.
I so would never wake up on Sunday morning, getting completely out of bed looking back to see if S was in the bed still sleeping. I also would never walk out into the living room thinking he may be there or in his room. Only to realize he wasn't even home. Never!
I certainly did not rush at the last minute shoving freshly folded laundry in the laundry basket and onto our bed. Before the guests arrived for S's b-day party.
Also I never would leave my house to drive 2 minutes to go to Walgreen's because I forgot a birthday bag/paper for the birthday party. And soda. While the guests were already there. Nope not me!
While getting frustrated at the party searching for the camera battery charger, did I not discover a long lost gift we had bought after x-mas hidden in my laptop bag. Kind of like when we never found the missing x-mas gift last week, good thing that never happened. Phew.
After being alone on Sunday morning I would never secretly play with S's new hot wheels track by myself. That would silly, definitely not grown up like either.
And I especially did not go crazy this weekend on the scholastic book orders because he definitely does not have an over flowing bookcase already. Maybe I will not show you later this week, what a slob it is.
